Embracing Innovation and Growth: My First 6 Months at Abstract Group

As I reflect on my journey over the past six months at Abstract Group, I'm filled with a sense of excitement and accomplishment. Joining as the Head of Cloud Services, I embarked on a path that promised not only personal growth but also a thrilling adventure of business transformation. Abstract Group, the beacon of innovation and progress, stood as a testament to its commitment to excellence in every endeavour.

Since joining Abstract Group, I've witnessed several milestone moments that have further solidified our position as industry leaders. From achieving Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus certifications to attaining ISO27001 accreditation, each milestone reaffirmed our unwavering dedication to security and excellence. Moreover, the establishment of our headquarters in KSA marked a significant step towards expanding our global footprint and fostering new opportunities. 

Beyond the accolades and achievements, what truly sets Abstract Group apart is its people-centric culture and the camaraderie that permeates throughout the organisation. The office, nestled in the heart of central Leeds, exudes warmth and camaraderie, fostering an environment where collaboration thrives, and ideas flourish. Surrounded by a diverse and talented team, comprising frontend and full-stack developers, business analysts, QA automation testers, DevOps engineers, infrastructure architects, and dedicated operations professionals, I found myself constantly inspired and challenged to push the boundaries of what's possible. 

In my role as the Head of Cloud Services, one of my key responsibilities is to foster meaningful partnerships with our esteemed collaborators. Working closely with partners such as Novus Capital, Tinkle, Ingram Micro Cloud, and Britain's Got Start-ups has been both enriching and rewarding, underscoring the importance of collaboration in driving mutual success. 

As I look ahead to the future, I am filled with anticipation and excitement for the journey that lies ahead. The past six months have been nothing short of exhilarating, and I am confident that the coming months and years will bring even greater opportunities for growth and innovation.
