Abstract Group Leeds Community Iftar

Abstract Group Leeds Community Iftar

On Tuesday 3rd March, Abstract Group welcomed families, children, and members of the Leeds tech community to our Leeds HQ for a relaxed Community Iftar.

As sunset approached, guests broke their fast with dates and Zam Zam water, then joined a prayer led by Waqas Mohammad, a Business Analyst at Abstract Group, before gathering to eat together.

Vimto and Arabic coffee, familiar favourites during Ramadan for many, were served alongside the meal. Children filled the space with energy, while families and local tech professionals connected over food.

There were no speeches or formalities, just people coming together to share Iftar in a welcoming setting. The simplicity of the evening made it feel genuine and reflective of the diverse community here in Leeds.

Abstract Group is committed to creating inclusive spaces where people can connect, and we’re grateful to everyone who joined us. We look forward to hosting more community‑focused gatherings throughout the year.
